Best AI Business Card Generators in 2026: 8 Tools Compared From Prompt to Print
The best AI business card generator depends on what you start with. If you have a website and want printed cards in the US, use Kleido's AI business card generator. If you want the most templates and a free plan, use Canva. Design.com and Genspark are the strongest free prompt-based generators. Looka fits people who also need a logo. Media.io and Krea make card artwork as images, not editable layouts. Prices last checked Nov 5, 2026, on each company's own site.

"Starts from" is the lowest listed price that covers a card design, not a full print order. Each tool's section below links the page we checked.
How did we compare these tools?
We reviewed each tool on its own site on Nov 5, 2026. We read its business card or AI generator page, its pricing page and its FAQ. We did not create accounts or run the competitor tools for this article, so every competitor claim below is what that company publishes, with a link.
We compared five things:
- Input. Do you start from a website, a business name, a chat prompt or a template?
- Output. Is the card editable text and layers, or a flat image?
- Both sides. Can you design a front and a back?
- Print path. Can you order printed cards from the same tool, or do you export a file?
- Price. What is the lowest listed price, and is it a subscription?
The ranking puts the tools that give you editable text and a clear print path first. A card with a wrong phone number baked into an image is the most common thing that goes wrong with AI business cards, so that weighs heavily.
Kleido: best for cards built from a real website, then printed and shipped
Kleido starts from your website instead of a blank prompt. Paste a URL and Kleido extracts your logo, colors, typography, tagline and tone. An AI model built on Anthropic's Claude then lays out a two-sided card at real print size. The output is editable HTML, not a flat image.
Before anything prints, you can edit any field inline, flip between front and back, regenerate one side, lock identity fields such as your name and phone number, and scan the QR code. Nothing prints until you approve it.
Pricing. There's no subscription. Your first design is free with the 1 credit you get at signup. Each design costs 1 credit, and credits never expire. Packs are Starter at $24 for 15 credits, Growth at $40 for 25 and Pro at $75 for 50. Custom amounts of 5 to 200 credits cost $1.80 a credit for 5 to 14, $1.60 for 15 to 49 and $1.50 for 50 to 200.
Prints are paid in credits, with US shipping included:
| Cards | Matte | Gloss |
|---|---|---|
| 50 | 10 credits | 12 credits |
| 100 | 18 credits | 22 credits |
| 250 | 40 credits | 48 credits |
| 500 | 75 credits | 90 credits |
Matte or gloss and square or rounded corners cost the same in each column. Paying users can also download a print-ready PDF. See pricing.
Where others beat Kleido. Printing and shipping are US only, with a waitlist elsewhere. Canva, Design.com and BrandCrowd have far larger template libraries. Canva and Design.com have free plans you can keep using, while Kleido gives you one free design. Looka, Design.com and BrandCrowd build whole brand kits with social posts, letterheads and more. Kleido makes business cards only.
Who should pick it. You have a website, you want the card to match it without rebuilding your brand by hand, and you want printed cards delivered to a US address.
Looka: best if you also need a logo
Looka is a logo maker first. Its business card maker starts from your company name, offers over 80 templates and lets you change fonts, colors and layouts. You can upload an existing logo, and the page says you can order your cards for printing.
Pricing. On Looka's pricing page, business cards come with the Brand Kit Subscription at $96 a year, which lists 19+ branded business card designs along with social posts, email signatures, letterheads and brand guidelines. The Brand Kit Web Subscription is $129 a year and adds an AI-generated website. Logo-only packages are $35 and $72, one time. Looka says making logos is free and you pay when you're happy.
Where it beats Kleido. If you don't have a logo yet, Looka makes one and builds 300+ matching assets from it. Kleido needs an existing website to pull your brand from.
Who should pick it. New businesses that need a logo, a card and the rest of a starter brand kit in one place.
BrandCrowd: best for designer templates matched to your logo
BrandCrowd's business card maker asks for your business name and shows related designs from thousands of templates, colored to match your logo. You can move the logo, elements and text, add gradients and curved text, and design a reverse side. Downloads include high-res files and vector SVG, EPS and PDF. BrandCrowd also offers printing with a choice of paper, edges and orientation, delivered to your door.
Pricing. BrandCrowd says the business card maker is free to try, and you can edit and save as many cards as you like. We could not load a public pricing page on brandcrowd.com on Nov 5, 2026, so we don't quote a plan price here.
Where it beats Kleido. A much bigger template library, vector file downloads and a wider set of brand tools for social and print.
Who should pick it. People who would rather browse finished designer templates than generate a layout, and who want vector files for their own printer.
Design.com: best free AI generation from a prompt
Design.com's AI business card generator takes a business name and a short description and generates many card designs at once. You can add keywords to steer results, edit fonts, colors, layouts and shapes, preview both sides and download PNG and JPG plus vector SVG, EPS and PDF. Designs stay saved in your account. If you made a logo on Design.com, the card generator matches your brand colors.
Pricing. The generator page says you can generate and explore unlimited designs free, with no credit card. Its business cards page says a selection of free business cards can be downloaded at no cost, including vector files. Design.com's purchasing FAQ lists subscription packages that include a logo at "typically US$25/month" for Starter and "typically US$34/month" for Value and Premium, with lower rates on annual plans. The same FAQ says printing is a separate service with an additional payment.
Where it beats Kleido. A free plan with free downloads, far more design variety and a full suite of brand tools.
Who should pick it. Anyone who wants many free AI options fast and is happy to send the files to a printer or pay for printing separately.
Genspark: best for chat-based editing with print guides
Genspark's AI business card generator works from a conversation. You describe who you are and the feel you want, and it designs the front and back as editable layers on a canvas at print size with bleed. You can preview at actual size, turn on bleed, trim and safe zone guides, and ask for changes in chat. It exports PNG, a layered PSD or a print-ready PDF. It supports US and EU print sizes. Genspark notes that exports are RGB.
Pricing. The page says it's free to start with no credit card. Genspark's AI design generator page says every account gets 100 free credits a day and a single design costs a few credits. The pricing page requires a login, so we don't quote a paid plan.
Where it beats Kleido. Daily free credits, chat-based revisions, a layered PSD export and EU sizes. Kleido prints only in the US.
Who should pick it. People who like describing changes in plain language and plan to take a PDF to their own print shop.
Canva AI (Magic Design): best all-round template editor
Canva's Magic Design generates designs from a text prompt or a photo, and Canva's designers train and review it. On the business card maker you start with a template, upload your logo, use your brand colors and add a static QR code. You can order prints from Canva.
Pricing. On Canva's pricing page, Free is $0 and includes 1.6M+ templates and 1 Brand Kit with up to 3 colors. Pro is US$144 a year for one person, with 3.6M+ templates and 5 Brand Kits. Canva's standard business cards start at $14.50 for 50, with free standard shipping.
Where it beats Kleido. A free plan with millions of templates, a lower entry print price, print delivery options including express and in-store pickup, and a tool you can use for everything else you design.
Who should pick it. Most people who want to design the card by hand from a template, especially if they already use Canva.
Media.io and other image-first generators
Image-first tools turn a prompt into a picture of a card. That's useful for ideas and artwork. The text is part of the image, so you can't fix a typo by clicking on it.
Media.io
Media.io's AI business card generator creates several card designs from a prompt or a reference photo, in 1K, 2K or 4K. The page says you can download a high-res image and place it into a print layout. On Media.io's pricing page, the free plan gives 3 daily check-in credits and exports with a watermark. Standard is US$7.99 a month billed US$95.88 a year, and Premium is US$13.99 a month billed US$167.88 a year, both without watermarks.
Who should pick it. Designers and owners who want quick visual concepts to rebuild in an editor.
Krea
Krea is an AI image and video generator rather than a card tool. Use it to make an original background or illustration, then add your text in an editor. Krea's pricing page lists a free plan with 100 units a day and no credit card, and paid plans starting at $5.25 a month for Basic on the default view we saw.
Who should pick it. People who want card art no template offers and are comfortable finishing the layout elsewhere.
Free vs paid, and editable text vs flat images: what's the difference?
Free. Canva, Design.com and Genspark let you keep designing on a free plan. Design.com's free cards include vector files. Media.io's free exports carry a watermark. Kleido gives you one free design, then charges credits with no subscription.
Paid. Looka, Canva Pro and Media.io bill monthly or yearly. Design.com's paid packages are subscriptions too. Kleido sells credits that never expire, and prints are paid in the same credits with US shipping included.
Editable text. Kleido, Canva, Design.com, Genspark, Looka and BrandCrowd keep names and numbers as text you can change. That matters at reprint time when your title or phone number changes.
Flat images. Media.io and Krea return images. Check every character, the size and the bleed before you print one. Our guide to printing an AI business card covers the file checks.

Who Kleido is built for
Kleido is built for people who already have a website and want a card that matches it, front and back, without rebuilding their brand in a template editor. It suits freelancers, consultants and small businesses ordering cards to a US address who want to approve the exact card before it prints and pay per design instead of per month.
It's not the best fit if you need printing outside the US, a logo from scratch, a full brand kit or a long-term free plan. The tools above do those jobs better today.
